Waiver & release.

By registering for the Long Beach Mile, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participating in a road race involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and the hazards of road racing. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages, injuries, or losses that I may have against the Long Beach Mile, Pyramid Printing, the City of Long Beach, their officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and contractors arising from my participation.

I certify that I am physically fit and have trained appropriately for this event. I will not participate if I am not medically able to do so.

I grant permission to the Long Beach Mile and its sponsors to use my name, likeness, and images from the event for promotional purposes.

For participants under 18: A parent or legal guardian must accept this waiver on behalf of the minor.

All registrations are final. No refunds. Wave changes may be requested until 72 hours before race start, subject to availability.
